Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide is pleased to introduce the biggest Pulsar star of 2023 – the Merger LRF XL50 thermal imaging binoculars, our first ever HD thermal imaging device with a new and powerful 1024x768 pixel resolution XL sensor. Get ready to explore in high-definition quality!
Brand new XL sensor
This time, the classical Merger design binoculars are powered with the brand-new XL sensor, 12-micron pixel pitch and a record 1024x768 pixel resolution. The French-made Lynred sensor brings superb HD image quality and detailedness, precise trophy identification and minute details of the surrounding landscape.
Long-range detection and highly informative field of view
If you try these new powerful Pulsar binoculars on the field, you might think that long distances have never been so close. The Merger LRF XL50 can detect a warm object at a surprisingly long 2 300 metre distance – even in complete darkness.
What might also surprise you (and why we admire the development of thermal imaging technology) is the highly informative wide field of view. It might sound unexpected as a long detection range usually comes at the price of a narrow field of view, but in the case of the Merger XL, with this sensor resolution both privileges exist in one device.
Zoom in without losing quality
We proudly call the new Merger LRF XL50 binoculars true all-arounders. The wide field of view for scanning and target acquisition and high image quality and detailedness apply across the whole range of variable magnification from 2.5x up to 20x, retaining enhanced details, clarity, and contrast throughout the range.
Ultimate detection efficiency is achieved with the fast aperture F50/1.0 germanium lens. In combination with the HD sensor, this device brings high contrast and informative imagery even during rain or fog, when temperature contrast is minimal.
The built-in precision laser rangefinder estimates a 1000 metre distance at an accuracy of plus / minus 1 metre. An essential factor for knowing the target distance before making the right decision.
Comfort of viewing with both eyes
The new binoculars feature the same classic form factor as the Merger LRF XP50, with the same ergonomics and comfortable viewing experience. Exploring the world with both eyes reflects natural human vision – it is less tiring than viewing with one only. The interpupillary distance in the Merger LRF XL50 binoculars can be adjusted from 56 to 71 mm to fit the individual needs of the user.
Moreover, the high-contrast HD AMOLED display resolution matches the resolution of the thermal sensor. This means less distortion – the image is crisp and contrasted with vivid colours.
Saving time and memories
Apart from excellent thermal performance and comfort of use, the Merger LRF XL50 binoculars are powered with a unique dual battery system – one built-in and a replaceable APS3 battery. It is easy to replace the battery by touch even in complete darkness without turning the device off.
Finally, if you love watching and sharing your most precious hunting moments, you will definitely enjoy the HD quality of the footage made with the built-in photo and video recorder.
Merger LRF XL50 binoculars provide plenty of opportunities, especially for the ones having the highest standards for the quality of thermal imaging.
