Image Stabilization

Available only in Merger LRF XT50

The stabilization function ensures a clearer and more stable image, reducing the effects of hand tremors during extended observation or when working at high magnification levels.

Stabilization Activation

Option 1:

Press and hold the UP/ZOOM (7) button briefly to switch on image stabilization.

Option 2:

1. Press and hold the MENU (9) button to enter the main menu.
2. Use the UP (7)/DOWN (8) buttons to select the Image Stabilization  icon.
3. Press the MENU (9) button briefly to enter the submenu.
4. Press the MENU (9) button briefly to turn stabilization  on/off.

Note: the image stabilization function is automatically switched off during laser rangefinder operation.

Stabilization Calibration

If the image quality decreases during long-term use of stabilization, calibration is recommended.

1. Press and hold the MENU (9) button to enter the main menu.
2. Use the UP (7)/DOWN (8) buttons to select the Image Stabilization  icon.
3. Press the MENU (9) button briefly to enter the submenu.
4. Use the UP (7)/DOWN (8) buttons to select the Stabilization Calibration  menu item
5. Press the MENU (9) button briefly to enter the function menu.
6. Put device on a stable surface to avoid any movement and press “Calibrate”. The process will take about 10 seconds.
