Pulsar is adding Talion, the most compact riflescopes line, to the firmware update 3.3 list.
This enables internal ballistic calculations in the Talion riflescopes which do not have an integrated laser rangefinder. All you must do is manually input the distance to the target for the device to calculate the suggested point of aim. With this update the entire range of Pulsar riflescopes is now equipped with ballistic precision.
Compatible with the newest update 3.3 are the following Talion models:
- Talion XQ38
- Talion XQ35 Pro
- Talion XG35
If you own a Talion, download the newest update 3.3 via Stream Vision 2 mobile application and start using ballistic corrections following a few simple steps.
The update activates the Bluetooth technology in the Talion riflescopes (do not forget to turn it on in the long menu of the device). It will enable a connection to Stream Vision Ballistics mobile application.
- After turning on the Bluetooth, connect your riflescope to the Stream Vision Ballistics app.
- Create up to ten ballistic profiles in the app on your mobile phone by filling in the required data.
- Upload the profiles to your riflescope via Bluetooth connection.
- You may now disconnect from the app.
- Go to the long menu of the Talion and select the required profile.
- Switch to the short menu, scroll to the ballistic option and manually input the predictable distance to the target by turning the encoder ring.
- The ballistic calculations will be carried out inside the riflescope.
- The suggested point of aim will be instantly displayed on your riflescope’s screen.
Enjoy the new standard of modern hunting!
Moreover, via Bluetooth you will be able to connect your Talion to the remote control. It mimics the main buttons and functions of the riflescope and eliminates the unnecessary distractions making hunting more intuitive. You can stick the BT remote control on the rifle butt or, if it suits you better, hold it in your hand.
Plus, the new FW update brings the possibility of display dimming. It is useful for reducing eye fatigue on a pitch-black night and making the hunter less visible to the animals.
